DON’T BE FOOLED

  • Proponents of the casino measure are trying to trick voters by saying their proposal would give local voters a choice, when in reality it would completely repeal the casino license in Pope County.

  • Efforts to stop the casino in Pope County have already cost the state and local governments approximately $100 million dollars in tax revenue since 2019. This proposal to repeal the Pope County casino license will create even greater economic losses for taxpayers.

  • This effort to repeal the Pope County casino license is being organized and funded by out of state interests who want to keep Arkansas tourism and tax dollars flowing across our border and into their pockets.

  • The Pope County casino will have a tremendous economic benefit to the State of Arkansas and the River Valley, creating more than a thousand jobs and $5 billion in economic growth to the state.  This casino repeal proposal will keep those jobs and that economic growth in Oklahoma.
