LIE:

Issue 2 would allow more casinos in Arkansas.

TRUTH:

It would NOT. The very first thing it would do is immediately repeal an Arkansas casino license, taking away something Arkansans already voted for in 2018 and leaving Arkansas with one fewer casino. And here’s something else Issue 2’s supporters don’t tell you: If a local community did want to have a casino in its county, they would have to amend the state constitution again through another statewide vote, writing the name of their county into the constitution as a place where a casino could operate. Only after winning that statewide vote would a community be able to hold a countywide vote about whether to allow a casino there.
